At the moment, the Mavs sit in fifth place in the Western Conference, as they trail the Jazz in fifth by a game and a half. These two teams will go head to head three times in the next five weeks, so it is one battle that we should pay close attention to.

The All-Star action is out of the way, but that doesn't mean that the season is done and dusted. The next seven weeks of the campaign are not just for fine-tuning and entertainment, and there are tons of things to look forward to.
James Harden and Ben Simmons will make their debuts this week for the Sixers and the Nets, respectively, so it is time for a bit of a reset in Philadelphia and Brooklyn. The Suns do not need to integrate anybody now, but they need a plan on how they can cope without Chris Paul, who is confirmed to be out of action for the next 6-8 weeks. He hasn't missed a game all season, so it will be interesting to see how his team will do in his absence.
